"All teams should be fan-owned"

Gwydion Edwards talks about following Bangor 1876 and his highlights of the season so far...

How would you describe the experience of watching Bangor 1876 this season?
The experience has been fantastic! It has been a pleasure watching my club again and getting the matchday vibes back, and have a pint with the boys! 1876 is the future, the positive thing we were waiting for!

Do you have any particular highlights of the season so far?
The first game at Broadhurst Park was a special memory and a special feeling. But I have to go for the victory on penalties against Penycae! Coming back three times and winning on penalties! The atmosphere that day was incredible and memorable!

As someone who has been to a lot of games home and away, do you have a favourite away trip so far?
Well, I was looking forward to going down to Nefyn but the first game at Broadhurst Park was special, there’s not another trip that comes close to that! The atmosphere, the music, the vibes... I’m going to remember the day for a long time, and certainly our marvellous first goal!

How are you dealing with the lack of football at the moment?
I’m lost! The feeling about not being able to go the pub on a day of is one thing, but living without football is another! But, keeping positive, health comes first! I’m looking forward to when we play again and this nightmare has passed!

Is there one thing that you would like to change about football?
Every club should be fan-owned, or at least partially fan-owned, and allow fans to have a say! Also, everyone who is a football supporter should support their local team because they don’t know what they’re missing out on and how much it means!
