Sunday will see the senior's make the long journey down to Welshpool. The team will be looking to extend the winning run to 3 games on the bounce and build on the momentum and performances we've seen in recent games.
In the run up to the game, manager Aron Griffith commented:
"Moving on from that critical win last Sunday, our focus quickly shifted to our next game against Welshpool. They're a strong side and shouldn’t be taken lightly. They had a great 5-0 win last weekend against Holywell so they'll be confident going into the game. That’s why we can't under estimate them. We're expecting another tough game and we'll have to work hard to earn the win, the team know this. We've a game plan in place to hopefully bring the 3 points home with us.
At our last encounter in Plas Ffrancon , yes we won 3-0 but it was a hard game. They were a resilient, well drilled, competitive team full of good players and it took us a while to break them down. Their results show they're a team not to be messed with but we're confident the girls can do the job on Sunday. That's the aim anyway."
