On a still evening by the Menai Strait, there were few chances of note in the early stages.
With twelve minutes on the clock, Bangor came close to taking the lead from an unlikely source. Joe Sullivan had the ball wide on the right and looked set to cross. His ball into the box struck the bar and reboinded to safety.
Bangor threatened again on their next attack which saw Tom Mahoney and Mason Blackwell-Jones combine well. Mahoney fired in a powerful low shot that Ryan Goldston did well to save.
Buckley had a chance from a free-kick just outside the box but Brad Farrar saved well. However, the visitors took the lead midway through the opening period when the ball broke to Connor Littler on the right side of the penalty area. The striker calmly placed a low finish past Farrar.
Just after the half hour mark, Buckley came close to doubling their lead. Aled Bellis broke into the box but Jake Ellison got back well to put in a crucial tackle.

Three minutes into the second half, the visitors extended their lead. A free-kick was swung into the box from the left and deflected into the net off Dion Jones.
Bangor enjoyed plenty of possession in the minutes that followed but did not create many opportunities. Corrig McGonigle tried his luck with a free-kick after 65 minutes but his shot dipped too late and went over the bar.
With fifteen minutes left, the visitors were inches away from adding a third goal twice within a minute. Brad Farrar made a finger-tip save to tip a long range shot from Max Moore onto the crossbar. The ball was then cleared off the line after the resulting corner.
Bangor enjoyed a spell of pressure as the game entered the final ten minutes. Corrig McGonigle came close to reducing the deficit following a corner but his shot on the turn was cleared off the line. Shortly afterwards, Dylan Summers-Jones got on the end of a free-kick but couldn't keep his effort down.
Inside the final minutes of normal time, the visitors came close to extending their advantage on a swift counter attack. However, Brad Farrar saved well and the ball was cleared.
Bangor continued to press during injury time but couldn't find the net as they slipped to another home defeat.
