In a lively start to the game, the first chance fell to Bangor inside the first seven minutes after good work on the right by Cai Powell-Roberts and Corrig McGonigle. The ball was worked into the middle to Sam Jones, but his low shot was saved by visiting goalkeeper Joseph Angus.
Still inside the opening ten minutes, Dale Davies tried his luck with an acrobatic effort after Joe Culshaw chipped the ball into the box but Angus again saved.
Bangor continued to press and forced a series of corners. Following one of these set pieces, Corrig McGonigle swung the ball back into the box towards Tom Clarke at the back post, but the Bangor captain couldn't keep his header down.
Just after the midway point in the opening period, Bangor created another chance following a quick counter attack when Dan Cox played in Corrig McGonigle. McGonigle tried a chip from a tight angle but his effort went just over the bar and landed on top of the net.
Despite the pressure from Bangor, it was the visitors who had a glorious chance to open the scoring five minutes before the break. After a neat passing move, Alfie Banning found space inside the Bangor penalty area but Carl Jones saved well with his feet.
Within a minute, Bangor had a chance at the other end following a swift counter attack. Dale Davies played the ball to Sam Jones inside the box but the attacker couldn't find the target with a curling effort from the edge of the box.
HALF-TIME: BANGOR 1876 0-0 LLANDUDNO
After the break, it was Llandudno who had the first chance. Harvey Bennett broke into the area and found himself clean through on goal, but Carl Jones saved well with his feet.
Bangor quickly broke upfield and Corrig McGonigle dribbled past several opponents. However, his shot was comfortably saved by Angus. Not long afterwards, Iolo Hughes headed over following a corner and Mason Blackwell-Jones saw a shot from the edge of the box turned around the post by Angus.
Shortly after the hour mark, Bangor had another chance but Dan Cox’s downward header was saved by Angus.
Immediately afterwards, the visitors broke upfield and Ethan Roberts found himself clean through. He unselfishly squared the ball and enabled substitute Dan Holland to side foot in the opening goal. There was then a short delay after a flare was thrown onto the field from the away end.
The visitors doubled their advantage with just over twenty minutes left. Bangor were caught in possession trying to play the ball out from the back, allowing Roberts to break forward and place his shot past Jones.
As the clock ticked down, Bangor continued to press but struggled to create opportunities. Carl Jones had to pull off another fine save to prevent Ethan Roberts from extending the visitors' advantage.
In injury time, a collision between Sion Edwards and Dion Jones allowed Ethan Roberts to break into the Bangor box and square the ball for Harvey Bennett to round off an away victory for the Seasiders.
