Match Preview

On Wednesday 20 December, we play our final pre-Christmas match when we host Flint Town United at Nantporth. The game kicks off at 7.30pm.

We faced Flint last month in a dramatic Welsh Cup match. A final minute equaliser from our goalkeeper Carl Jones forced a penalty shootout in which our visitors ultimately prevailed.

Flint are the only unbeaten team in the JD Cymru North, having won ten and drawn two of their first twelve matches. They are currently second in the league and two points behind leaders Airbus, but have four games in hand on the league leaders.

In their most recent league match, Flint won 3-0 at home to Porthmadog last Friday thanks to goals from Joseph Williams, Joshua Jones, and Harley Brindley-Peagram.

After our match against Flint, our next game will be at 2.30pm on Tuesday 26 December when we travel to face Porthmadog at the Traeth. We then begin 2024 by welcoming Porthmadog to Nantporth for a league match on Monday 1 January that kicks off at 2pm.
