At 7.30pm on Friday 17 November we return to league action when we welcome Buckley Town to Nantporth in our first ever match against the Flintshire side.
It will be the first of two matches in quick succession against the same opponents as we have an away league game against Buckley Town on Saturday 2 December at 2.30pm.
Last weekend, Buckley managed to come from behind and win 2-1 away to Llanuwchllyn in the Welsh Cup. Their goals were scored by Josh Dunroe and Callum Humphries.
Over the years, a number of illustrious players have represented Buckley Town. They include former Stoke City defender Ryan Shaw cross, who grew up in the area and was part of Buckley's youth set-up before joining Manchester United’s academy. Wales international Danny Collins also played for Buckley before barking on a club career which saw him represent teams such as Sunderland, Stoke, and West Ham.
We received great support at home to Flint in the Welsh Cup last weekend and it would be fantastic to see more of the same this Friday under the lights at Nantporth.
