On Tuesday 11 April at 6.30pm, we make the short trip to face Y Felinheli at Cae Seilo.
We faced Y Felinheli in the league at Treborth back in August. On that occasion, we won 5-0 thanks to doubles from Corrig McGonigle and Liam Morris, and a further goal from Corey Jones.
Y Felinheli began this month with a home defeat against Denbigh before losing away to Rhostyllen on Saturday. However, they have often proved to be a tough team to beat on their home pitch this season. Last month they drew 2-2 at home to both Llay Welfare and Saltney Town and were narrowly defeated by Rhyl in a game that was won 2-1 by the Lillywhites.
Y Felinheli play at Cae Seilo and the address of the ground is as follows: Cae Seilo, Stryd Bangor, Y Felinheli, LL56 4JT. A map showing the location of their ground can be found on their website: http://cpd-y-felinheli.cymru/eng/contact-us.php. Entry costs £3 for adults and payments will need to be in cash only as there is not a card machine.
With a large crowd expected to attend the game, we would like to encourage our fans to car share and travel to the game by public transport if at all possible. There is some parking available in the immediate vicinity of Y Felinheli’s ground. It is possible to park on the pavement on Stryd Bangor next to the pitch in areas that are not blocked off by cones. In addition, there is the possibility of parking at the other side of the ground. When driving towards Y Felinheli from the Bangor direction on the B4547, before reaching the Y Felinheli sign turn uphill to the left in the direction of Llanberis. Immediately afterwards, take the first right and there will be some room to park at the side of the road. There is a path on the right of the road that leads to the top end of the ground. However, do please remember that it could be a lot less fuss to travel by bus and that there is a stop very close to the ground.
Tuesday's match has all the makings of an exciting encounter so do please come along if you can.
After Tuesday evening's game, we will be back in action again on Saturday 15 April when we take on Llandudno Albion at 2.30pm. Although it is officially an away game, it will be taking place at Treborth as this is where Albion are currently playing their home games.
