On Saturday 8 April at 12.30pm, we play Rhyl at Nantporth in a highly important league match.
Please remember that the game is all ticket, and information about match arrangements and how to buy tickets can be found here: https://www.bangor1876.com/news/tickets-for-bangor-1876-v-y-rhyl-1879-080423-2768760.html.
When we played Rhyl at Belle Vue earlier this season, we won 2-1 thanks to goals from Liam Morris and Corrig McGonigle. Rhyl had taken the lead with a rebound following a penalty that was saved by Huw Shaw. Huw had to go off injured not long afterwards and this resulted in our full back Kian Owen playing more than half of the match in goal.
At this Saturday's game, we are delighted that members of our under-12s team will be acting as mascots. Players from both sides and the match officials will be wearing FAW Fair Play logos as part of the FAW Fair Play Campaign that is being run in collaboration with the Nationwide Building Society.
The FAW Fair Play Code aims to raise the profile of the Fair Play message by inspiring players, clubs, officials and supporters to maintain good discipline on and off the pitch, abiding by the Laws of the Game, respecting opponents, match officials and promoting the interests of football.
As a large crowd is expected and segregation arrangements will be in place, please could spectators arrive early. The stadium will be open to fans from 11.30am. Bangor 1876 fans will enter via turnstiles.
An allocation of tickets has been made to Rhyl fans who will enter the ground by turnstiles A and B and occupy the area at the Antelope end of the ground and the Family stands.
Bangor 1876 fans will enter the ground by turnstiles C and D and will occupy the Pier end and the main stand. Fans are asked to use the steps from the car park to access the road to the turnstiles at the rear of the stand.
Refreshments will be available for 1876 fans in the Farrar Suite (Function Room) to the rear of the main stand.
Disabled spectators should present themselves at the officials and players entrance.
We would like to take this to wish fans of both teams a Happy Easter as we look forward to this weekend's match.
