On Friday 31 March (7.45pm), we are away to Flint Mountain in another important league fixture. Although we have previously hosted Flint Mountain at Treborth, Friday’s game will be the first time that we have taken them on at the Essity Stadium.
Back in September, we won 5-0 at home to Flint Mountain thanks to two goals from Corrig McGonigle and one apiece from Jamie Petrie, Les Davies, and Harry Galeotti. The visitors played the majority of the match with ten men following a first half sending off.
Last Saturday Flint Mountain won 2-0 at home to Brickfield Rangers thanks to goals from Sam Jones and Ben Brierly. Their only other match this month saw them win away to Bow Street on penalties after a 1-1 draw in an Ardal North League Cup encounter.
Flint Mountain have been a hard side to beat this season at the Essity Stadium and are unbeaten at their home ground in 2023. Their last home defeat was against Llangefni Town on 17 December, and that loss is the only time they have been beaten at home in the league this season.
The address of Flint Mountain’s ground is as follows: Essity Stadium, Marsh Lane, Flint, Flintshire, CH6 5PJ. A map of its location can also be found on their club website: https://www.pitchero.com/clubs/flintmountain/contact.
Please make the trip along the coast on Friday night for this big game if you can. We’ve had great support at home and away this season and it’s warmly appreciated by all our players, coaches, and officials.
