On Saturday 11 March at 2.30pm, we welcome Denbigh Town to Treborth in a league match. It will be the first time that we have faced them at our home ground although we have twice played them at Central Park this season.
Back in December, we lost 3-1 away to Denbigh in a League Cup match in which Paul Fleming scored a hat-trick and Corrig McGonigle netted our goal. Last month, we suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat after conceding an early goal from Matthew Worrall.
While we were winning 3-0 away to Brickfield Rangers in the league last weekend thanks to two goals from Corrig McGoingle and one from Jamie Petrie, Denbigh progressed in the Ardal North League Cup with a 6-0 win at home to Llanfair United. Jason Foulkes and Jake Walker both scored twice and were joined on the scoresheet by Sam Haddon and Nathan Brown.
As usual, we will be accepting donations for the Bangor Cathedral Foodbank in the clubhouse so would like to encourage anyone who can to support this cause.
Please note that there has been a recent change to one of our upcoming fixtures. We had been due to travel to face Flint Mountain on Friday 17 March but that game has now been postponed. Instead, we will play away to Hawarden Rangers on Saturday 18 March in a game that kicks off at 2.30pm
