Dylan Summers-Jones wrote his name into the record books on Saturday as he scored Bangor 1876's first ever competitive hat-trick in a 5-1 home win over CPD Sychdyn in the FAW Trophy First Round.
Fresh from an opening day Gwynedd Football League win at Ogwen Tigers the previous Saturday, Bangor 1876 struggled to get into their stride in the opening 45 minutes.
The North East Wales League visitors held their hosts at bay until three minutes before the break when Jamie Petrie was brought down in the penalty area and duly converted the spot kick himself.

The home side emerged from their lethargy after the interval and went further ahead thanks to Dylan Summers-Jones' 51st minute strike.
Just before the hour, Bangor 1876 stamped their authority on proceedings as Jamie Petrie once again converted from the penalty spot to put the hosts firmly in control with a 3-0 lead.
On 71 minutes, Dylan Summers-Jones doubled his personal tally with a superbly executed team goal as slick passing and movement saw Summers-Jones slot past Sychdyn 'keeper Craig Hughes from six-yards for the stand-out goal of the match.
Undeterred, CPD Sychdyn struck back almost immediately as substitute Tim Hughes reduced the arrears to 4-1 in Bangor's favour.
The habitual late substitutions followed before Dylan Summers-Jones rounded off the scoring in the penultimate minute with another close-range finish to claim the match ball and ensure Bangor 1876 are in the hat for the FAW Trophy Second Round draw.
