The encounter will be the third time in 12 months that we have taken on the Darans. We faced the team from the foot of Snowdon twice last term in what were keenly contested encounters. On both occasions, we had to work hard in order to overcome our opponents.

On 4 September 2021, we won 3-0 against Llanberis at Treborth in a league encounter thanks to goals from Les Davies, Cameron Barry and Chris Jones. However, the scoreline was perhaps somewhat harsh on the visitors given their contribution to a highly entertaining match.

On 2 April 2022, we made our first away trip to take on Llanberis and had to work hard in order to come away with the three points. It looked like Corrig McGonigle had opened the scoring just before half-time with a spectacular effort from the edge of the box, but he was flagged offside. However, Jamie Petrie netted the winner from a tight angle inside the final quarter hour of the game.
