Following the announcement by the First Minister on Friday, it was confirmed that outdoor activities can resume for children Under 18 on the 27th of March. This was obviously great news and a big step forward towards some sort of normality.

However, unfortunately, at the same time the Gwyrfai League announced over the weekend is decision to cancel the season for all age groups. Whilst this may seem disappointing, it is totally understandable and it allows us to continue preparations for the start of next season.

We are excited to announce that First Team player and local legend Les Davies will be joining the Junior Section as Coach of our newly formed U16’s side. This will be a great opportunity for young lads of the local area to learn from somebody who has been through the system as a local lad who went on to get a remarkable career at the highest standard in Wales.

Les is already working hard on preparations for next season and is looking for players to join. Any players who are interested in joining the Club and playing and learning from Les should get in touch.

We are still actively looking for coaches to join our club for the foundation age groups and to assist Les at the under 16 level. The Fun Football Programme which was due to resume in January is scheduled to return in April. Further information will be provided in due course. We are also working on some other exciting projects that, we believe, will be of big interest to local children and we will hopefully be able reveal further details soon.
