Our first ever match as a club was away to FC United of Manchester during a highly memorable afternoon on 20 July 2019. It was the occasion when Benn Lundstram scored our first ever goal in the final moments of a game enjoyed by both sets of supporters on a bright summer afternoon..

We are delighted to announce that we will be welcoming FC United of Manchester to Nantporth for a friendly on Saturday 6 July that kicks off at 3pm.

Our chairman Glynne Roberts has expressed his delight at being able to host the iconic fan-owned club that we encountered back in July 2019:

"The friendly marks the 5-year anniversary of our first game and demonstrates how far we've come that we're now able to return the gesture of hospitality. We have always been grateful to FC United for offering to be the first team to play us and have kept in close touch with them over those 5 years, and they have always been supportive in helping us with our development.

We will be wearing special commemorative white shirts as a one-off for the friendly in recognition of the importance we place on our relationship with our friends at FC United."
