12.30pm, Saturday 27 May, in Prestatyn

On Saturday 27 May at 12.30pm, we play Cefn Albion at Bastion Gardens in Prestatyn in a play-off match that will determine which team gains promotion to tier 2.

This season, Cefn Albion have competed in the Lock Stock Ardal North East League, finishing nine points behind champions Caersws and three points ahead of third placed Bow Street. They have been in impressive form in 2023, losing only twice. In their final league game of the season, they won 3-0 away to Dolgellau on Saturday 13 May thanks to penalties from Ryan Kehoe and Jordan Williams, as well as an injury time strike from Luke Griffin.

Saturday’s match is sure to be an exciting encounter given the prize at stake. The ground will be open to fans from 11.30am and segregation will be in place. Bangor 1876 fans will occupy the half of the ground nearest to the clubhouse and changing rooms and will be able to enter via the main turnstiles that are just off the street known as Bastion Gardens.

It will be a case of paying on the gate, and entrance prices will be £5 for adults and £3 for concessions. Entry for under-12s will be free. Payments will need to be by cash only and it will be much appreciated if fans have the correct change as this will help to make things run smoothly. The postcode of the ground is LL19 7LU.

Parking at the ground may well be limited due to the nature of the game and please could fans be considerate of local residents when it comes to parking. There is a large pay and display car park on the seafront in Prestatyn that is only a few minutes’ walk from the football ground.

Our players, coaches, and officials are tremendously grateful for the fantastic support we’ve received at home and away all season. Please head to Prestatyn on Saturday if you can as we conclude our season with a match of great importance against Cefn Albion.
