Bangor 1876 Associate Artist John Dexter Jones is one of the contributors to anew anthology published by Tonic Sta Press, entitled ‘Football is Poetry’, which will be launched at an online event later this month. Musician and writer Jones feels honouredto be featured alongside names such as Attila The Stockbroker and Matt Abbott in the book:

“I think the interest in my work came on the back of my book ‘Four Seasons - A Bangor Football Concerto’ which came out a few years ago. I was contacted about a contribution for this anthology, and was really pleased when I was told it was going to be included. It’s another little piece of Bangor’s proud football history coming to wider attention, so as an 1876 fan and co-owner, I’ve got to be happy with that!”
